A session as polyphonic as the œuvre of Gregory Whitehead itself! For more than thirty years Whitehead has been questioning the history of radio art, the characteristics of its transmission and the metaphorical games around it. Considering the radiophonic space as a political space conveyor of utopia, simultaneously crossing possibilities of emancipation as practices of sound manipulation that disturb the ties between reality and fiction, Whitehead never ceases to reinvent the imaginary resources of his art. On the occasion, of the release of the first publication in French ground studying his critical mind, Rip on/off invites you to plays commented by Whitehead, to the broadcast of his latest, “On the Shore Dimly Seen” and to a drink or two.
