Two Aboriginal bands are followed on the road in outback South Australia. Coming ten years after the re-emergence of the Australian film industry, “Wrong Side of the Road” was the first Australian feature film with an all indigenous cast. The script was based on the band’s direct experiences with improvised sequences, documentations of gigs, and accompanied by lashings of Aboriginal rock and reggae.
